Run 𝖴nbold. Run 𝖴nbrave. Raise testicular and prostate cancer awareness. Run cancer out of town

Hollard Daredevil Run logo

Join us for the Daredevil Run, a unique event where brave men don their purple Speedos and take to the streets to raise awareness of testicular and prostate cancer. In partnership with CANSA (Cancer Association of South Africa) and the PCA (Prostate Cancer Association), we’re not just running but making a difference in men's health.

On 01 November 2024, thousands of daring men will run through the streets of Mzansi (South Africa) in nothing but Speedos and takkies. Why? Because testicular and prostate cancers are generally highly treatable when caught early. Partnering with CANSA and the PCA, we raise awareness to enable men to take their health seriously.

  • Sign up today and be part of a life-changing movement. Together, we can raise cancer awareness and help men everywhere take action on male cancers
  • Get tested today
  • Donate to support the fight against testicular cancer. Every contribution helps fund critical research and early detection programs
  • Be a Daredevil—show up, wear your purple Speedo, and help us raise awareness while having fun and making a real impact

Are you brave enough to bare it all?

Why we run

Running in a Speedo may seem wild, but it’s for a serious cause—testicular cancer is most common in men aged 15-35 and is one of the most treatable cancers when detected early. By baring it all, we’re encouraging men to be bold enough to check themselves and take proactive steps for their health.

Testimonial: “Participating in the Daredevil Run was a powerful experience for me. I ran for my friend who fought and survived testicular cancer. It was a fun way to make a difference and raise cancer awareness.” Angelo, 2019 Participant

The Daredevil challenge

“It’s 5 kilometres, a Speedo and an unforgettable experience taking place in various centres around South Africa. Whether you sprint, jog, or walk, every step you take is a step towards raising awareness and raising funds for cancer research. One hundred percent (100%) of proceeds from the event go directly to supporting testicular cancer research and other cancer awareness programs. Last year, we raised nearly R700,000, which funded early detection initiatives for men.” Oscar, 2023 Participant

How you can get involved

Even if you can’t walk or run this year, you can still support the Daredevils in their mission. We partner with trusted organisations to ensure that your contributions make a real difference. Donate, spread the word, or simply show up and cheer on the brave participants as they hit the streets with nothing but courage and Speedos.

Meet the Daredevils

Every participant has their own story, but they all share one goal—raising awareness for testicular and prostate cancer. Meet the Daredevils, hundreds of men , united by a common cause. From cancer survivors to those running or walking for loved ones, these brave men are sharing their experiences to bring attention to the importance of early cancer detection.

The Daredevil Run isn’t just another event—it’s a powerful way to start conversations about men’s health.
